If you’re shopping for a weighted blanket, there’s a good chance you might get overwhelmed by all the options. With dozens of brands to choose from, it is hard to decide which one will be the best fit for you.

I spent $1,672 (of my own money) and bought the most popular weighted blanket brands to test! I created this list from my findings and hope it will be helpful for others that are looking for the best weighted blanket! This list covers the best buying options for every price range in 2022. I didn’t accept any free products, and all opinions in this post are my own. I hope it is helpful!

#1 Luxome Cooling Weighted Blanket

First impressions and unboxing:

Luxome’s weighted blanket comes in a nice case; it is one of those cases that you’ll want to keep for travel or storage. The travel case is slightly larger and taller than the case the Aricove comes in. However, it is still very portable and easy to carry.

One unique thing about this cooling blanket is that it comes in many different configurations.

First of all, you choose an integrated cover or removable cover. The removable cover option is more expensive than the integrated cover, but not too much. You also have the opportunity to choose between the single or double-sided fabric. The possibilities are either double-sided lyocell bamboo, one side lyocell bamboo, or one side Minky. None of the other cooling weighted blankets we tested had this feature, making it unique.

I bought the removable cover option with double-sided lyocell bamboo and Minky fabric. The bamboo side of the cover is silky and cold, while the Minky side is much softer and warmer. I loved the versatility of switching back and forth between the two.

You can tell the overall construction of the blanket is of excellent quality and will last years to come. The removable cover is easy to unzip, throw in the wash, and put back together. Overall the construction and thought that Luxome put into designing this blanket are more impressive than many other brands I’ve tested.

Comfort level, materials, and texture:

This weighted blanket is one of my favorites overall in comfort and design. It honestly deserves more than five stars. The lyocell bamboo is cool and comfortable, and on the other side, the Minky fabric is warm and plush.

The reversible feature is excellent for anyone that might get hot while sleeping but still wants to have the option of switching the cover over to something warmer and cozier. With the reversible cover, you get the best of both worlds.

You can also tell that the materials used in this blanket are high quality, and the stitching is put together nicely.

Temperature rating:

Another unique thing about Luxome’s design is that they do not use polyester in their removable cover cooling weighted blankets. Most of the other brands that we tested contain some polyester filling. Many brands use polyester because it is strong, durable, and a low-cost option. However, a few downsides of polyester are that it traps heat and moisture, making it not as breathable as cotton. So instead, Luxome uses breathable cotton, which stays cool and keeps you comfortable.

I also found it interesting that Luxome engineers their weighted blanket to be thinner than other brands. This is because the beads are distributed throughout the blanket to keep the blanket thin, which helps keep you cool. The logic behind keeping it thin is the thinner the blanket is, the less heat it will trap and the cooler it will feel.

So are the claims from Luxome valid? I figured this was easy enough to test, so I compared the Luxome blanket side by side with nine other brands. It turns out that Luxome did have one of the thinnest inner shells. In addition, it was significantly thinner than most brands in the lower price range. Overall, there was a lot of thought put into this blanket’s “cooling” design.

There are a few significant differences to note between the fabric choices. As mentioned before, Luxome offers its cooling blanket in a few different fabric configurations. If you are an especially hot sleeper and want the coldest option, definitely go with lyocell bamboo on both sides.

Having bamboo on both sides of the blanket will keep you the coolest, absorb the most moisture and heat from your body, and circulate it back into the air. Suppose you don’t have any significant problems with overheating while you sleep and want a versatile blanket that can be cool or warm. In that case, the double-sided bamboo and Minky are an excellent choice.

Weight distribution:

The glass beads that Luxome uses in their weighted blankets are less than 1mm, and they felt pretty much undetectable. It was easier to feel the glass beads in other brands, such as Luna. Another thing I noticed was that the weight distribution was very even, and there weren’t any pockets that felt like they shifted or moved around. I would give the weight distribution a 5-star rating overall. Although it was very similar to the weight distribution of Aricove, both blankets had some of the best weight distribution I tested.

How did it feel sleeping with this blanket:

At night I slept under the bamboo side of the blanket and had no issues. I didn’t wake up hot or sweating and slept the entire night. If you’re a hot sleeper and buy the reversible cover, you’ll want to sleep with the bamboo. The Minky fabric on the other side can get too hot to sleep with, but it’s great for watching a movie or just lounging around.

Best for:

My favorite blanket features are the reversible cover, even weight distribution, cooling effect, variety of options, and price point.

The reversible cover is perfect for anyone who wants the versatility of being able to switch back and forth between cooling and cozy. If you are a hot sleeper and care about having something warm and comfortable to use at times, the Luxome is a clear winner.

Weight distribution is even throughout the blanket, which helps the overall comfort level and ensures you get the intended benefits of using a weighted blanket.

Luxome has a lot of different covers you can select. Many other brands only give you one choice of cover configuration and material.

They also offer many size options to find the perfect fit for your mattress. Unfortunately, a few competing brands, such as Aricove, only provide their weighted blankets in one size.

To summarize, if you are looking for a weighted cooling blanket that is really versatile and well constructed, you will love the Luxome. This blanket falls in the mid-price range. Even though Luxome is a slightly higher price, it has more options than other brands.

What we didn’t like:

There wasn’t much I didn’t like about Luxome’s weighted blanket.

It is more expensive than some of the other options but still reasonably priced for the quality and features.

Another potential negative is the warranty of the Luxome. Outside of the 30-day return window, Luxome does not offer any warranty. Other brands offer a more generous warranty, including Aricove, which offers one of the best warranties in the industry and a 30-day guarantee.

#2 Aricove Weighted Blanket

First impressions and unboxing:

One thing I liked about Aricove is the case that it comes in. It has a high-quality case that is perfect for traveling or storage. Out of all the other brands I reviewed, only Luxome and Layla’s weighted blanket came with a travel case. That said, Aricove’s case is the most compact, and you can tell it is a higher quality case than the others.

My first impression of Aricove’s fabric was that it was cool to the touch. It has a near-identical feeling to Luxome’s cooling weighted blanket. They both feel the same because the outer shell of both blankets uses bamboo vs. cotton. Bamboo has natural cooling properties that absorb heat and moisture away from your body, making it one of the best materials for hot sleepers.

Visually it has a nice design to it as well. The pattern of the Aricove is different from the squares that you see in a lot of other designs. Aricove has a diamond-shaped configuration, which also helps evenly distribute the weight. It has a nice white color and a grey border outline surrounding all sides of the blanket. Overall I liked the design and thought it looked better than many other blankets I tested.

Comfort level, materials, and texture:

Aricove is a comfortable blanket that any hot sleeper will love. The bamboo is soft and silky and will keep you cool while sleeping.

Temperature rating:

Aricove is at the top of our list regarding its cooling effect. It performed substantially better than many other weighted blankets advertised as cooling. Luxome’s cooling blanket was close in comparison to Aricove. Both brands have similar cooling properties, and it was hard to tell the difference in temperature between the two blankets.

Overall, Aricove gets a 5-star rating for its cooling effect. I didn’t have any issues falling asleep or staying asleep while using it.

Weight distribution:

Another thing I loved about Aricove is the even weight distribution. I noticed almost immediately that it had a very evenly distributed weight. Compared to some less expensive brands, Aricove better distributed the weight throughout the blanket. After some additional research, the even weight is an outcome of the unique diamond design used to hold the micro glass beads in place. Many other brands use the same type of square design to hold the glass beads. I like the unique design of the Aricove, and it works incredibly well to even out the distribution of weight.

How did it feel sleeping with this blanket:

I loved sleeping with this blanket. I fell asleep faster than usual and slept the entire night without waking up sweating or hot. So it wasn’t hot at all, which is perfect for hot sleepers like me.

The blanket has a calming effect that kind of feels like a hug. I also felt like I didn’t move around as much at night, which helped me get a better night’s sleep.

Best for:

Overall the Aricove is an excellent choice for anyone that sleeps hot and wants to stay cool throughout the night. I liked how it kept cool and thought it was one of the best in the cooling category.

One of the significant upsides of the Aricove vs. lower priced weighted blankets is the weight distribution. It has one of the best distributions of weight, making the blanket more comfortable and helping maximize the benefits you get from using it.

I also love that it comes with a high-quality travel/storage case. The case is very well made and doesn’t take up much space. In addition, it is effortless to roll up the blanket and put it back into the case, making it perfect for traveling or easy storage.

What we didn’t like:

As much as I loved Aricove, there are a few things that you’ll need to consider before buying. Firstly, Aricove currently only offers its blanket in one size (48 x 72). Most other brands provide multiple-size options. For example, suppose you are looking for a Queen or King size to fit your bed. In that case, you’ll want to consider a different brand, such as Luxome, that offers a handful of various sizes. Also, if you are looking to use your weighted blanket as a couple, this isn’t the best choice, as you would need to purchase one blanket for each person.

From a design standpoint Aricove also only comes in one color. Most other brands offer at least a few different color options. However, white is your only color option with Aricove. So if you’re looking for a different color to match your bedroom or family room, you’ll have to buy a different brand.

The last thing to consider is that the blanket doesn’t come with a removable cover. This feature can make it harder to wash and keep clean. You can buy a cover separately from Aricove’s website. Still, the bad news is that it will cost almost an additional $80! If you add in the cost of the cover, that will make the Aricove one of the more expensive weighted blankets on this list. However, I didn’t purchase a cover and have had no problems keeping it clean or putting it through the wash.

#3 Nuzzie Knit Weighted Blanket

First impressions and unboxing:

When I received the Nuzzie Knit, the first thing I noticed was the unique packaging! It comes in a large cloth bag featuring a fun graphic on the front. The blanket is also significantly larger than any other brands we tested.

The Nuzzie Knit features one of the unique designs you’ll find. It is a knitted blanket with open weaves that allow air to circulate freely. Also, instead of glass beads, it uses weighted yarn to add weight to the blanket. As a result, the Nuzzie is supposed to trap less heat and be cooler than your typical weighted blanket without any glass beads or filling. Don’t worry. We’ll get more into the temperature rating below!

Since it is a knitted design, the texture of this blanket is quite different from any of the others I tested. It isn’t cool to the touch or silky like you would expect from the bamboo cooling blankets. Instead, it feels more similar to the cotton blankets I tested, except not as smooth.

It is still very comfortable, but if you don’t like the feel of a standard knitted blanket, then you probably won’t love Nuzzie. It is just one of those things you either love or hate.

As far as visual appeal goes, the Nuzzie is by far the most stylish. We use this weighted blanket all of the time because of how good it looks. I love the way it looks draped over our couch and bed. It’s the only weighted blanket I like to leave out when we aren’t using it. Whenever we have guests over, they always compliment the design, and once we tell them it is a weighted blanket, they can’t resist but test it out.

Comfort level, materials, and texture:

The Nuzzie is very comfortable, but is it the most comfortable weighted blanket you can buy? I would say no. Since Nuzzie is a knitted blanket made of weighted yarn, it isn’t as smooth or cool to the touch as the bamboo blankets I tested. Also, compared to the cotton blankets I tried, it isn’t as warm or cozy.

Short story. The temperature dropped the other night, and I was cold while using this blanket. So I had to find another blanket to layer over it, and I consider myself a hot sleeper. The point is that this blanket is perfect for anyone that sleeps hot. The open design lets air circulate through the holes. On the other hand, if you aren’t a hot sleeper and want something warmer and cozier, the Nuzzie will not be a great choice.

To summarize this section, if you like the feel of knitted blankets and value an open-air design, you will love the Nuzzie Knit. Also, if the style is essential to you and you want a blanket that looks as good as it works, you can’t go wrong with this option.

Temperature rating:

We’ve already talked about the temperature rating in the above sections. So here I’ll just give a quick overview and some comparisons to other weighted blankets I’ve tested.

Nuzzie isn’t advertised as a “cooling weighted blanket” but as breathable with an open weave design. This design claims to be much cooler than a standard weighted blanket that uses your typical filling materials, such as glass beads.

From my testing, the open-air design feels more breathable than most other weighted blankets. Admittedly, the blanket isn’t cool to the touch like some cooling bamboo blankets, but the temperature rating is very similar.

I’ve slept multiple nights with the Nuzzie and other cooling weighted blankets. Nuzzie’s temperature is similar to some of the best cooling weighted blankets I’ve tested, Luxome and Aricove. Nuzzie feels slightly cooler, but not by as much as I expected.

When I was doing my initial research, I thought the Nuzzie Knit would be the coolest because of the open-air design. But instead, there isn’t as drastic of a difference between the Nuzzie and the best cooling options.

Overall I would give the cooling effect 5/5 stars, and it is safe to say this is one of the coolest blankets tested.

Weight distribution:

You won’t have to worry about any uneven weight distribution with this blanket. Engineered with weighted yarn and no glass beads ensures the weight is distributed evenly and won’t shift around.

This blanket had one of the best weight distributions that I tested! I would give the weight distribution a 5/5 star rating.

One thing to note is that the blanket can sometimes bunch up a little bit due to the design. You will need to pressure the blanket to flatten it back out if that happens. Unfortunately, when the blanket does this, it doesn’t press against your body, which doesn’t give you all the benefits of using your weighted blanket.

How did it feel sleeping with this blanket:

This blanket is comfortable to sleep with, especially for hot sleepers. It doesn’t get hot when you sleep, so you’ll stay cool and comfortable throughout the night.

Although with Nuzzie’s open-air design, it isn’t great for super cold nights. I’ve had to add some additional covers on top of it on freezing nights.

If you are always cold, this blanket isn’t going to be a great choice. However, the open-air design primarily benefits hot sleepers, so I recommend choosing a different option unless you love the knitted structure.

Best for:

Since Nuzzie’s weighted blanket has such a unique design, it stands out compared to most other brands. The design of this blanket has various benefits, and on top of that, it is visually appealing.

It is the perfect blanket if you are looking for something that will look good in your living room or bedroom. Most of the other weighted blankets we reviewed would easily wrinkle and aren’t as stylish visually. However, from a design standpoint, Nuzzie is probably the nicest looking one I’ve tested.

Another thing we like about this blanket is the super breathable design. It has open airflow and stays cool while sleeping. Unfortunately, it isn’t bamboo, a popular fabric for its cooling effect. Still, the open-knit design that Nuzzie uses in their blankets is very comparable. So I would say Nuzzie’s design is even more efficient in cooling.

You’ll also notice that this is an incredibly high-quality blanket. It is durable, and you can tell it will last a very long time. Also, since it uses weighted yarn, you don’t have to worry about glass beads that can spill over time.

So, who do I think will like this weighted blanket best? I would recommend this blanket for hot sleepers that have a higher budget. The Nuzzie Knit is one of the more expensive options and probably isn’t necessary for everyone. However, if you like the design of this blanket and want to stay cool at night, I think the Nuzzie is a great investment. It will also last a long time, so you won’t have to worry about buying another blanket in the future.

Suppose you don’t love the way a knitted blanket feels or don’t love the design. In that case, there are better and less expensive options that have similar cooling effects, such as Aricove or Luxome. However, if you love the design of the Nuzzie and it is on budget, I would say this is an easy purchase! I love my Nuzzie and use it all the time, and I’m sure if you are similar to me, you will enjoy yours.

What we didn’t like:

While the Nuzzie is great, it is not perfect and comes with a few potential drawbacks.

The first potential drawback is that the Nuzzie blanket is bigger than the other weighted blankets I tested. It takes up a lot more space and isn’t as easy to store! The knots of the knitted design don’t fold up very well, making it relatively large even when folded. It’s bulkier overall than any of the other brands. Nuzzie isn’t the best travel companion either. It would be a challenging blanket to travel with, so if you plan to bring your weighted blanket with you on the go, choose a different option. For travelers, we would recommend a smaller weighted blanket that comes with a nice travel case and is easy to pack up. Aricove and Luxome both have great cases that are perfect for travel.

Another drawback is that the Nuzzie doesn’t come with a cover. Without a cover, washing the weighted blanket is more challenging. On the positive side, Nuzzie can fit in most standard-size washers, and the washing instructions are straightforward. Still, some people prefer a cover that they can simply unzip and throw in the wash.

Last on the list of drawbacks is the price point. Nuzzie is one of the higher-priced weighted blankets. Therefore, it might not be ideal for those just starting with weighted blankets or those on a budget. While Nuzzie is unique in many aspects, there are still other great options that you’ll love at a much lower price point.

#4 Hush Iced 2.0

The Hush Iced 2.0 is a premium cooling weighted blanket with many different weight and size options. The fabric is 100% bamboo, and the filling consists of microfiber and glass sand. It’s one of the more expensive options you can buy, but overall the quality is excellent.

First impressions and unboxing:

The first thing I noticed about this blanket is that it is incredibly cool to the touch. When you take it out of the box, you’ll notice the cooling effect. It has a similar feel to other cooling blankets that we tested, using bamboo as the outer fabric.

Hush has a smoother texture than the competitors because of the included removable cover. Most other brands do not include any cover, so the overall surface isn’t as smooth. However, we love how Hush includes a cover that is easy to remove, wash, and put back together.

Another feature that stuck out to me was the weight distribution. The Hush has a very evenly distributed weight. It makes a difference in the overall effect you get from the blanket. It has one of the best, if not the best, distributions of weight.

Comfort level, materials, and texture:

The Hush has an excellent weighting effect. It is comforting and kind of feels like a hug. However, there are no areas of the blanket that feel heavier than others. Each section of the blanket has an even weight distribution.

Since Hush uses viscose bamboo, the material is cool to the touch. The exciting thing is it even stays cool for an extended period.

The texture of the bamboo cover is very smooth. I would compare it to a set of silky bed sheets, so you will love the Hush Iced if you like that type of feel.

I enjoy how comfortable this blanket is. As far as overall comfort, I would give it 5/5 stars. Compared to the other cooling bamboo blankets, this is the most comfortable because of the silky cover. Most other bamboo cooling blankets do not have a cover.

Temperature rating:

When I tell my family and friends about weighted blankets, usually the first thing they will ask me is, “aren’t they hot?”.

So, how do I respond? I bring out one of the weighted cooling blankets and let them try for themselves!

I bring this up because I let my friend try the Hush Iced the other day. The first thing she said was something like, “Wow, how does this stay so cool?”. She’s an incredibly hot sleeper and was surprised by how cold the blanket was. So I would say the Hush Iced will be comfortable for most hot sleepers.

Is it the coolest weighted blanket I tested? No.

Even though it has a significant cooling effect, a couple of other weighted blankets did feel a little cooler. So we’re going to give the cooling effect of the Hush 4 out of 5 stars.

Weight distribution:

One feature that’s pretty unique about Hush is that they use glass sand instead of glass beads. All the other brands we tested (except for Nuzzie) use glass beads. The micro-glass sand makes the weight distribution of this blanket phenomenal. I would give Hush a rating of 5 stars in this category because it was one of the most evenly distributed that I tested.

How did it feel sleeping with this blanket:

Once you put on the blanket, you’ll feel almost instant comfort and relaxation. Every night that I use the Hush, I feel more relaxed, and it always seems to help me fall asleep faster.

I also didn’t have any issues staying asleep. I never wake up sweaty or hot and stay comfortable throughout the night.

I’m a hot sleeper and could sleep most nights with this blanket. However, I’d probably prefer another weighted blanket on scorching nights or skip it altogether and use a typical bed sheet.

Best for:

This blanket has a lot of benefits and a few drawbacks. The key features of the Hush are the even weight distribution, silky removable cover, and cooling effect.

The Hush Iced is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to invest in a premium weighted blanket. You can tell the difference in materials and design compared to many lower-cost options. The overall weight distribution is even, and it’s a very comfortable blanket that will last for years to come.

I would also recommend this blanket for hot sleepers, as it does stay cool and comfortable. It isn’t the coolest option I tested, but it does stay cool throughout the night. If you are looking for the coldest weighted blanket on the market, I would recommend skipping the Hush for now as there are options that feel cooler such as Luxome.

What we didn’t like:

There are only a few things I don’t love about the Hush Iced 2.0.

I would say my biggest concern is the price point. It’s the most expensive option out of any weighted blankets I tested. Hush offers many benefits vs. other weighted blankets, but I just wish the price point was more affordable.

If you’re a first-time weighted blanket user, you might want to invest in something a little less expensive at first to make sure that you like weighted blankets. Then if you decide you want to invest in a premium option, buy the Hush at that point. But, on the contrary, Hush does offer a 100-night risk-free trial and interest-free financing.

Another thing I don’t love about the Hush is that it doesn’t come with a travel case. Other lower-priced brands include a travel case, so you must purchase a case separately if you decide to travel with your blanket.

#5 Luna Cooling Weighted Blanket

First impressions and unboxing:

When you first open Luna’s cooling blanket, you will immediately notice that the fabric is cool to the touch and has a silky texture to it. This cooling effect is due to the 100% lyocell bamboo outer shell. As a result, it feels much cooler than most of the other blankets we tested that do not use a bamboo shell or cover.

This blanket does not come with a removable cover, but you can buy one separately if you’d like. The design of the blanket is pretty standard, it has multiple squares throughout, and all of the materials are very well put together.

Comfort level, materials, and texture:

I gave the comfort level of this blanket a 5-star rating. The bamboo outer shell gives it a very smooth and silky feel which helps keep you cool and comfortable throughout the night. However, if you like the feeling of a very cozy and warm blanket, this isn’t a great choice. Since the bamboo material is silk-like and has cooling properties, you don’t get that fuzzy and warm feeling that you would expect from a standard cotton blanket.

Temperature rating:

I was impressed with the cooling feature of this blanket. It was one of the coldest that we tested, and it seemed to stay cool for an extended period. I didn’t get hot at all while using it and have slept with it countless nights without overheating or sweating. The design also makes this blanket very thin and lightweight. It is also thinner than most of the brands we tested, which helps keep the temperature on the cooler side.

Weight distribution:

Overall, the weighted glass beads seemed pretty evenly distributed. However, a couple of sections in the blanket felt like they may have been slightly heavier than others. It wasn’t very noticeable, though, and overall we still gave the weight distribution four out of five stars. Other cooling weighted blankets, such as the Aricove, had better weight distribution due to differences in the product design and the pockets that hold the blanket filling. Although, the brands that we thought had better weight distribution also come with a higher price tag.

How did it feel sleeping with this blanket:

This blanket has helped me fall asleep faster than I usually would. It has a very comfortable and calming sensation that makes me feel relaxed and less stressed and helps relieve anxiety.

I’ve even accidentally snoozed off a couple of times after putting this blanket on. So fair warning, put on a movie or audiobook and use this blanket, and there’s a good chance you might not finish your movie or chapter as intended. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend giving this blanket a try for someone who struggles with insomnia or has trouble falling asleep.

I’ve used this blanket a handful of times throughout the night. I never woke up sweating, hot, or uncomfortable. I’m generally a hot sleeper and like to keep it cold at night, so this weighted blanket is a great choice if you live in a hot climate or want to stay cool.

Best for:

Luna’s cooling weighted blanket is a well-rounded blanket at a reasonable price point. It is comfortable and, most importantly, stays cool.

This weighted blanket is perfect for hot sleepers who don’t want to spend a fortune but still want a quality cooling blanket to keep them cool throughout the night.

Another thing I love about Luna is they offer more weight, size, and color options than most other brands. For example, many brands only offer one standard size for each weight option. Still, you can get multiple sizes at each weight level with Luna.

What we didn’t like:

There wasn’t much that I didn’t like about this blanket.

The main drawback for some people will be that this blanket does not include a removable cover. Since there isn’t a removable cover, it is more challenging to wash. This issue doesn’t present a huge problem, though, as Luna offers covers that you can purchase separately. It would be nice if it included a cover, though. Also, the weight distribution wasn’t perfect. With the square pocket design that holds the glass beads, we did notice some slight uneven distribution. However, the weight distribution is still great, and I rated it four out of five stars. If you want a weighted cooling blanket with an almost perfect distribution, the Aricove could be a good option. Although I rated the weight distribution higher than Luna, Aricove doesn’t have as many sizes, weights, or color options.

First impressions and unboxing:

Since YNM is the lowest-priced weighted blanket I bought, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging. It comes in a nice portable case with a zipper that you can use for travel or storage.

One unique feature of this blanket is that it comes in over 40 different colors and patterns. I chose the “lattice scroll” pattern, but it wasn’t an easy choice with all the different designs. Another thing I like about this blanket is the weight options. You can even find the perfect weight ranging from 5 to 30 pounds.

Comfort level, materials, and texture:

I would give the comfort level 3 out of 5 stars. The material is nice, but it can get hot, and overall it can’t compare to the other options I tried. The cover is cotton instead of bamboo, which can be better for cold nights. Still, if you live in a hotter climate, it will probably be better to spend a little more and buy a brand that offers bamboo, such as Luxome or Aricove. Temperature rating:

The first thing you’ll notice almost immediately is that this blanket doesn’t have any cooling effect. Therefore, this is not an ideal option for hot sleepers. However, suppose you are looking for a similarly priced blanket. In that case, the Luna cooling weighted blanket is a much better option for hot sleepers.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a cozier option and are always cold, then the YNM could be a great and affordable choice.

Weight distribution:

The weight distribution is okay, but not the same level as most higher-priced weighted blankets. On the other hand, the premium weighted blankets feel like they have a more even distribution and better overall weighted effect.

How did it feel sleeping with this blanket:

Since I live in a hot climate and sleep hot, I didn’t love this blanket and only used it one night. Therefore, I can’t speak to this section, as I don’t think I could give an accurate description based on just one night. Although, if you go to the product page, you will find thousands of reviews, and it seems that many verified purchasers do love and enjoy this weighted blanket.

Best for:

YNM’s weighted blanket is one of the most affordable options. Therefore, it could be an excellent choice for anyone looking for an entry-level weighted blanket. While it can’t compare to the weighted blankets in the $100 – $150 or $150 – $250 price range, it still could be a solid option if you are just getting started with weighted blankets.

What we didn’t like:

The main drawback of the YNM Weighted Blanket is that other blankets are close enough in price and offer more benefits.
